Our story

A studio that believes ten minutes is enough.

We started Vitalkne in a small room above a bakery on Toorak Road. The goal was simple: build short, kind movement routines that anyone could complete on the busiest day of their week.

What guides us

Three quiet principles we keep returning to.

Kindness first

Every routine is built to be doable on your worst day, not your best one. Soft cues, no shouting, no countdown pressure.

Honest claims

We talk about movement as movement. We do not promise dramatic transformations and we do not sell shortcuts.

Small, repeatable shape

Ten minutes, four parts, one clear focus. The structure repeats so the habit can carry on a busy mind.

Our path

How the studio came together.

2021

An idea above the bakery

Claire Whitaker and Mason Brooks sketched the first ten-minute structure on a napkin while waiting for the morning loaves to come out.

2022

First small group

Twelve neighbours signed up for a free trial. Their honest notes shaped the very first proper program.

2023

Move to Toorak Rd

We took over a long, narrow room with great afternoon light and added a tiny office at the back.

Today

A small, focused library of routines, a friendly newsletter, and a community of people who like ten quiet minutes a day.
